board at game end

Game Notes:
food plan
  • 1st play with K's big box
  • house rule to add Portugal accepted
  • house rule to place an additional cab at start using spinner to choose was not accepted
  • K was randomly chosen to start the game. He bid 13 and chose Decay of Authority as his action thus forcing all other players to send all their starting cabs back from their courts to the provinces before they even got a chance to play. A very effective move that slowed down every other player and allowed K to jump to an early lead from which the other players were never able to recover.
  • house rule suggested to reshuffle opening actions if Decay appears
  • cabin plans were discussed including G volunteering to interface with Laurie (JT had to bow out of cabin due to work requirements), a complete food plan, a rough schedule of games and suggestions/discussion of possible mystery games

Music:

Lonnie Liston Smith: Cosmic Funk (1974)
Rush: Live concert included as part of the Farewell to Kings 40th anniversary deluxe release (Recorded February 1978 in London, England)
