Game Notes:

Both Si and Sc were missing from this year's festivities #Sad
W ate the most #StoveSausage and also drank the most brandy
W slept in the master suite this year
M slept on sofa cushions downstairs after getting snored and gassed out of his bedroom
No snowstorm this year so we were able to drive right to the door
Thanks to Laurie for the hospitality again this year
Toasts were made to Kevin's ghost. Roll high my friend.
TM tournament was a successful format that we might try again next year with a different game
Conquest of the Empire was chosen as this year's BIG game and we could barely fit it on the cabin's long wooden picnic-style table
M won this year's big game
K created gamer stats just for the cottage weekend
M created his own counter stats
G and W stayed on and played more games

Game Notes:

M liked the Inn card this game
W liked the Tower card
Despite an 8:15ish start, game still didn't end until 11:30ish
a lot of a AP with this one
Taxes, the great equalizer
At end of night, Z was overheard still trying to get clarity on whether or not he gets paid if someone plays on his guild
Ain’t nothing more exhilarating than an Elmdale text message in your pocket!
G was touching the elf with his fingers
Cottage details discussed
W’s last build got him 0 points but brought Dave down 2 points, when he had available to him an ability to build in a different spot which would have actually gotten him 2 points and would have brought G down 2. No idea why he chose what he chose, but it resulted in a 2-point win for G that otherwise would have been a 2-point win for K. K is not bothered by this…really…not in the least bit…
